The AirBox® organic waste bin has a lid featuring tiny holes. This design is intentional, allowing air to enter the bin from above. This creates the ideal conditions for the damp organic waste to dry out. Thanks to evaporation and the sealed sides, unpleasant odours are prevented and fruit flies are kept to a minimum. Furthermore, the holes in the lid are as small as a pinhead, so flies cannot lay eggs in the organic waste bin, which prevents the formation of maggots.

The 10-litre organic waste bags included in this set fit perfectly into the AirBox®. The organic waste bags are certified as compostable and leave no persistent microplastics behind. They offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic bags. Furthermore, they are particularly tear-resistant and liquid-proof, making the collection and disposal of organic waste particularly clean and hygienic.

Certification in accordance with EN 13432

Our high-quality organic waste bin liners are certified in accordance with the strict guidelines of DIN EN 13432 and bear the DINplus and OK Compost Home labels. These certifications guarantee that our bin liners are biodegradable and fully compostable in less than 6 weeks in an industrial composting plant. Furthermore, our organic waste bags leave no persistent microplastics behind. They therefore make an important contribution to a sustainable circular economy.
